TRADE FOR CONTENT PHOTO SHOOTS!

TFC Shoots ranging from...
1 - glamour, sexy, fun, Playboy style, Pinup to Softcore / Implied
2 - modeling portfolio shots non-nude shots at the start, work into nudes or implied
3 - shots for magazine publication: Playboy, FHM, Maxim to Hustler
4 - fine art prints for gallery or my current book projects (generally nude or semi-nude)
5 - adult nudes, hardcore to fetish / bondage - depending solely upon what the model is comfortable with. I work within YOUR limits, so please be open and honest when explaining them to me so I know exactly what we are shooting!

GOALS FOR TFC SHOOTS
My goal is to get strong images we can both USE. I don't want to waste time doing light tests or shooting on boring backgrounds I want to plan something interesting and create amazing images.

WHAT IS TFC?
TFC means "trade for content" that means the photographer and model both agree to waive standard fees in the interest of producing some good portfolio work for both parties. The underlying goals for the shoot is to produce photo sets that the model or I might later use on a member-based site. These are sets similar to the work I have done on RubysDiary.com. I usually do TFC to build my portfolio or build content for personal projects. I don't resell content sets to 3rd parties.

DO I GET A CD? WHAT DO I GET FROM A TFC SHOOT WITH BLACK CAT IMAGEWORKS?
All Models get a copy of the finished content and will be able to access it from their private online portfolio as soon as it is ready. I will also provide the finished content on CD if you prefer. Currently I do not do time for prints. If you need or desire prints of images that I don't plan to use for portfolio I can edit them for you at my standard rate.

I usually produce around 25 “best of shoot ” images, depending on the amount of looks and location. These images are edited, retouched and optimized for web at 800x553 at 72dpi. If the shots are amazing and usable of course I will likely use more. If you need more portfolio images please discuss it with me in advance. I reserve the right to not release images that do not meet my standards and deem damaging to both our careers.

If we succeed in shooting a strong content set during our shoot, I will produce a set of about 50 images. This will take a little longer to edit and all of these web images will be made available to the model in addition to the portfolio images. I do not release unedited images and the model should not expect to receive or inspect all of the raw images unless specific arrangements are made in advance.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY IMAGES BACK?
Standard delivery for finished edited images is 2-4 weeks. If you have a time dependency please let me know in advance.

WHO OWNS THE IMAGES? CAN I USE THEM ON MY SITE?
I retain ownership/copyright to the images I shoot unless other arrangements are negotiated in advance. I can use them to promote my sites or portfolio and may use then in print or however I wish. I grant the model the rights to use the images their portfolio or site and for non-commercial use. In short, you can do almost anything you like with them except sell them or modify them without permission. I usually allow the sale of single prints but not commercial use unless we make arrangements. If you need to retain the copyrights and ownership and do not want the images used for any use other than your own, my rates are very reasonable and I can give you a quote.

CAN I CHANGE, MODIFY OR MANIPULATE THE IMAGES?
No modification or manipulation, including but not limited to cropping, alteration of colors or contrast, removal of watermark(s), and/or addition or subtraction of visual elements is allowed without my express permission. Any other usage, commercial or otherwise, which includes but is not limited to, sale of prints, use as content for internet pay sites, publishing in print media or use as stock material, is prohibited without my express permission. If you need to have images to modify or to create derivative art with, please let me know in advance so we can negotiate a rate.

HAIR AND MAKEUP?
Please be prepared to style your own hair and makeup appropriately for the shoot or make arrangements (with me or on your own) to get a stylist. Please make sure to let me know if you need help with your hair/makeup or if you are not able to do it yourself so I can make arrangements if needed.
